  • Only the ineffective, misinformed (and misinforming) media would call Sarah Palin "a rising star". While Ms. Palin does have her fans, the overwhelming majority of Americans still have enough brain cells left to see her for what she truly is: a very loud empty barrel with little or no substance.

  • I'll go with Ryan Miller. His expression last night after the game matched mine. He played his heart out. I'm re-energized again for Hockey but the NHL can learn a lot from end-to-end Olympic play. Neutral Zone traps should be penalized!

  • Humble?? All I ever heard from Ohno is how many medals he won! Everytime they interviewed him, he reminded us. Terrific athlete for sure, but Mr. Humble he is not.

  • The King?? The King of the Lunatics is more like it. Do Elvis fans even listen to R&R?? Give me Chuck Berry anytime over EP. I will say his terrific guitarist, Scotty Moore, deserves at least half of the notoriety that Pressley got.

  • Roma - Port St. Lucie FL off Prima Vista. The real deal. Also a place off Military Trail just south of PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens - behind the old Abbey Road restaurant - just like I remember from NYC in the 60's.

  • I beg to differ with Blyleven. Boras is certainly good for mediocre, second-tier players but he's horrible for the paying schlumps like myself that truly love and support this game. If collusion is freezing out creeps like this greedy huckster than I'm all in favor of collusion.

  • I don't what happened to this guy. He slams his clubs into the turf, he snubs the press, and he loses tournaments that he has the lead on Sunday's.

  • Clearly, Tiger is still the best in the business but there's something missing. Nothing shabby about coming in 2nd in the PGA - and still leading the FedEx - but, you have to admit, that wasn't a Tiger finish yesterday. I no longer think that he will overtake the Major crown.
